Usage
-
It's alright to save
any of my pictures to
your computer and use
them as your desktop
wallpaper.
-
It's alright to use my
pictures as an icon
for instant messaging
programs or forums.
However,
it is
NOT
alright
to use any of the
Maglot pictures for
any reason, as he is
my
character.
You wouldn't like me
taking a picture of
you and saying it was
me, so I expect you
not to do the same. If
you do not know who
Maglot is, he is the
blue, gray, white and
brown werewolf to the
right.
-
Do not modify any of
my pictures or use
them for your own
projects without
asking first. Simply
ask, and I will
usually say yes. If I
were to find you using
it without permission,
I'd be much more
upset.
-
Do not steal any of
the site-related art
to use in your own web
pages.
-
ESPECIALLY do not use any
characters who were
commissioned by paying
customers for your own
purposes. This is
really low. These
pictures now have
copyright notices on
them, so do not act as
if you didn't know
which ones they were.
-
I do not condone the
use of "borrowing";
from my art. I have no
problem with fan art.
However, by
definition, fan art is
art done by fans of a
particular subject,
such as drawing your
favorite video game or
comic book character.
Therefore, it should
be your own version of
another person's
already-finished
piece. Fan art is NOT
taking a pose from a
picture someone drew
or drawing the same
character some other
artist did but
slightly changing the
colors and then acting
like you did it from
scratch or that it was
completely your
original idea.

| FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS |
|
Q:
|
What kind of name is Maglot anyway?
How did you come up with something
like that?
|
| |
|
A:
|
When I was into RPGMaker 2000, I was
making a game, and needed a name for
one of the heros. I couldn't think of
one, so I used a random name generator
program. When that name popped up, I
thought it sounded very unique and
odd, so I used it for one of the
characters. When I later quit working
on the game and decided to create a
persona for myself to use online, I
adopted the name Maglot, and have been
using it to this day. Before that, I
used to go by "Metroid" on IRC.

|
|
Q:
|
Why does Maglot have lightning bolt
marks on his chest?
|
| |
|
A:
|
The "lightning bolts" are actually
regular fur-pattern marks on most
wolves that I saw and deicded to
extend a bit of creativity to. They
usually only reach the front of the
neck, but for Maglot, I figured a
really weird design would be cooler.
|
|
|
Q:
|
How long have you been drawing?
|
| |
|
A:
|
Since I was old enough to hold a
pencil. I'd estimate that I've been
drawing seriously for about 17 years
or so.
|
|
|
Q:
|
Why the fascination with werewolves?
|
| |
|
A:
|
Because I think they're cool, why else?
|
|
|
Q:
|
Are you a furry?
|
| |
|
A:
|
Nope.
|
|
|
Q:
|
Are you a real werewolf?
|
| |
|
A:
|
I bet landscape artist get asked if they are really
trees, mountains, or grassy meadows in real life too. |
|
|
Q:
|
Do you believe werewolves exist?
|
| |
|
A:
|
Only on Jupiter during the summer solstice in the shade at 4:00pm. Alternatively, no.
|
|
|
Q:
|
How come you never draw female
werewolves?
|
| |
|
A:
|
Because red isn't divisible by potatoes.
|
|
|
Q:
|
Can you draw something for me? I don't
have any money.
|
| |
|
A:
|
Well, that depends. How long you can hold your breath?
|
|
|
Q:
|
Are you ever going to finish your
comic, "Of Wolf and Man"?
|
| |
|
A:
|
I will as soon as it starts raining money from the sky. Then I'll be able to afford to pay someone to do it for me.
